Principal's Message 2026-2027
Leopard Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Lasselle Elementary School!
Whether you are returning to our Leopard family or joining us for the very first time, I am thrilled to welcome you to a new year filled with opportunity, growth, and excellence.
My name is Katie Ermert, and I am honored to be entering my ninth year as Principal of Lasselle Elementary School. It continues to be one of the greatest privileges of my career to serve this incredible community of scholars, families, and staff.
This year, we proudly embrace our new theme: Unleash the Excellence. Ignite the Possible.
At Lasselle, we believe excellence already exists within every child. Our job is to nurture it, challenge it, and create the conditions where every scholar can thrive. Together, we will ignite new possibilities through strong relationships, rigorous learning experiences, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
Our mission remains at the heart of everything we do: Every Student. Every Day. No Matter What.
This is more than a motto—it is our promise. Every decision we make is centered on ensuring that every scholar feels valued, supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
I want to personally thank you for entrusting us with your child. We recognize the importance of this partnership and are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and academically enriching environment where all students can succeed.
